Interesting article using American Community Survey data to analyse how early US metro cities get into work.
It’s amazing, these people are at work before I even wake up (usually 8:30-9am).
Two things I would like to point out:
1) Without enough sleep, you body cannot secrete enough Human Growth Factor. From wikipedia:
2) I don’t trust that these people getting to work at 6:30, 7, 7:30 are actually getting out 8 or 9 hours later and able to have a life outside of work. Americans work on average 40+ hours per week and many many maannny of those hours are unpaid. Why do this to yourself? Also from wikipedia:
By 1946 the United States government had inaugurated the 40-hour work week for all federal employees.Beginning in 1950, under the Truman Administration, the United States became the first known industrialized nation to explicitly (albeit secretly) and permanently forswear a reduction of working time.
